BEAVER DAM, Ky. — As Christmas approaches Beaver Dam will see an event that is sure to spark some friendly competition and help some children in need as well.
The Beaver Dam Housing Authority is an official Toys for Tots donation location and the Beaver Dam Police Department and the Beaver Dam Fire Department wanted to help collect donations.
From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, the BDPD and BDFD will be set up at the Beaver Dam Walmart, one department on the grocery side and the other on the pharmacy side.
Everyone in Ohio County is encouraged to come out and help both departments Fill the Truck with toys, coats or money for Toys for Tots.
The event is sponsored by Walmart, Beaver Dam Housing Authority, Beaver Dam Police Chief Mike Allen, Beaver Dam Fire Chief David Stevens Jr and Cash Express.
Walmart is at 1701 N. Main St. in Beaver Dam.
