BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Loren “Shane” Williamson, 51, of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at his home. He was born Oct. 10, 1968, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to James Williamson and the late Clara Maybell Wilkerson Dant.
Shane was employed by Erb Equipment Company in Owensboro.
Aside from his mother, Clara Dant, he was preceded in death by his sister, Zoma May Dunn.
He leaves behind to treasure his memories, his father, James “Jim” (Lucy) Williamson; two brothers, James “Darren” (Janie) Williamson, of Utica, Kentucky, and J.R. Williamson, of Beaver Dam; one sister, Renee Turner, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; three nephews, J.D. Williamson, Christopher Murrell and Stephen Mahoney; six nieces, Stephanie, Destiny and Chasity Dunn, Olivia and Brianna Murrell, and Sally Mahoney; and two stepchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Leach Chapel (Leach School Road, Horse Branch, KY 42349). William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
