HARTFORD, Ky. — Harold “Shorty” Allen Sr., 75, of Hartford, passed away Sept. 30, 2019, at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. Shorty was born Feb. 29, 1944, in Hartford, to the late Roy Belldon Allen and Minnie Rose Bunger Allen.
He enjoyed being with his family, was a member of Hartford Christian church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
Shorty is survived by his wife, Linda Allen; his children, Harold Allen Jr., Teresa Harris, Pamela (Nick) Maiden, and Laura Jean Allen; along with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for friends and family.
