BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Paul Abbott, 73, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Lester Howard Abbott and Dorothy Geary Abbott.
Mr. Abbott worked in construction and was a member of Echols General Baptist Church.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Jewell Neace; son, Ronnie Neace; daughter, Renee Neace; and brothers, Darrel Abbott and Lonnie Abbott.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children, Dorothy (Clint) Howard, of Beaver Dam, Paula “Annie” Grace, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Bryn (Amber) Turner, of Calhoun, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Hunter, Eli, Katelyn, Heather, Kourtney, Chailey, Kinley, Brynden, and Zayden; two great-grandchildren, Paislee and Serenity; two brothers, Winston (Delois) Abbott, of Cromwell, Kentucky, and Calvin “Woody” (Theresa) Abbott, of Echols, Kentucky; and sister, Alice (Bobby) Henon, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mr. Abbott’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
