BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Mary Lou Simpson, 61, of Beaver Dam, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1957, in Pike County, Kentucky, to the late Orion “Red” Mullins and Irene Holbrook Mullins.
She had previously worked for Beaver Dam Sportswear and Daicel.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Cameron McNeil and Patrick Allen McNeil; sister, Betty Leisler; and brother, James Mullins.
She is survived by two children, Marcus Alexander (Penny) McNeil, of Corydon, Kentucky, and Kami Jo Simpson, of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, Patrick Alexander McNeil, and Aidan Craig McNeil; and one sister, Loretta (Jimmy) Southard, of Beaver Dam.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at McHenry Baptist Church, 75 State Route 1245, McHenry, KY 42354, with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Friends may visit with Mary Lou’s family from 4 p.m. until the time of the service, Saturday at the church.
