HARTFORD, Ky. — Starla Jo Jones, 55, formerly of Hartford, departed this world on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in Venice, Florida. She was born in Harrisburg, Illinois, Aug. 16, 1963, to Bill and JoAnn (Dunn) Morse.
Starla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leslie and Leotta (Hill) Morse, and Francis and Ruth (Brooks) Dunn; brother, Brad Morse; and nephew, Michael Dockery.
In addition to her parents, Starla is survived by sons, Lance (Ashley) Smith, of Hartford, and Cody (Gina) Smith, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; grandchildren, Michael, Case, Jesse, McKinley, Eva, and Lyla; sister, Angel (Mike) Dockery, of Hartford; brother, Billy (Lara) Morse, of Hartford; sister-in-law, Amber Morse, of Nokomis, Florida; nieces and nephews, Michelle, BJ, Bria, Bo, Cole, and Morgan; and friend, Joe Simolari.
A private ceremony will be held by the family at a later date.
The family ask that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to a college fund to be set up for the grandchildren, and can be made at the service or by mail to: 111 Twin Hills Dr. Beaver Dam, KY 42320.
