**UPDATE** Missing Greenville teen found

GREENVILLE, Ky. (3/30/19) — The Greenville Police Department has reported Jenna Gabrielle Fitzhugh has been located and returned home to her parents safely. Fitzhugh had been missing since Mar. 26.

Details of her whereabouts over the last few days is still under investigation.

According to the GPD, more information will be released as the investigation of her return progresses.


GREENVILLE, Ky. (3-29-19) — The Greenville Police Department, along with other agencies, are continuing to search for Jenna Gabrielle Fitzhugh, 15, of Greenville. The Greenville Police has provided an update on the case today on its Facebook page.

According to the GPD, Fitzhugh left her residence on foot during the night of Mar. 26, 2019. She left her phone and a suicide note.

Several search crews began searching the area immediately after Fitzhugh was reported missing on the morning of Mar. 27. Green River Correctional K9 teams followed Fitzhugh’s trail to a location near her residence. The trail ended near the intersection of Fox Drive and Walters Trace. Jodi Powers Search & Rescue Team is continuing to search at this time.

The GPD and the Kentucky State Police have searched Fitzhugh’s cell phone and continue to search her social media accounts for information about her disappearance. GPD is also consulting with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

No credible leads have been found at this time. The GPD asks for anyone who may have information about Fitzhugh’s whereabouts to come forward. No matter how insignificant you believe the information may be, contact GPD at 270-338-3133. It could be information needed to find her.

Currently, multiple agencies and people are helping with the search, including Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department, KSP, Green River Corrections K9, Central City Police Department, Powderly Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, Muhlenberg Emergency Management, FBI, Government Tracker David Everhart and Jodi Powers Search & Rescue. Many people have also assisted with the search and investigation.

Members of the Muhlenberg County Board of Education are organizing a candlelight vigil in front of the Muhlenberg County Courthouse at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Mar. 29, 2019.

The Greenville Police is looking for Jenna Gabrielle Fitzhugh, 15. She is 5’5” tall, weighs 124 pounds, and has strawberry blond hair. She was last seen on the night of Mar. 26, 2019, at her residence on Fox Drive.
