MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Albert W. Dockery, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at his residence. Albert was born Feb. 25, 1940, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Opal and Eva White Dockery.
He was a retired roofer.
Other than his parents, Albert is preceded in death by three sisters, Neva Pharris, Faye Sorrells, and Inis Swift, and one brother, Helbert Dockery.
Albert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margie Mae Snodgrass Dockery, of Morgantown; four daughters, Margaret Pecina (Martin), of Caneyville, Kentucky, Lorie Heflin, of Caneyville, Tabby Taylor (Jimmy), of Morgantown, and Marjeana Camacho, of Morgantown; three sons, Alvin Dockery (Rosa), of Caneyville, Roy Dockery (Lyris), of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and Jonnie Dockery, of Morgantown; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Veneda Burden (Frank), of Morgantown, and Edith Sanders, of Louisville, Kentucky; five brothers, Everett Dockery (Cora), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Delbert Dockery (Glenda), of Neafus, Kentucky, Curtis Dockery, of Morgantown, Harlan Dockery (Callie), of Morgantown, and Carlton Dockery (Mary), of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
All services are private and under the direction of Jones Funeral Chapel.
