OWENSBORO, Ky. — Ben Boswell, 73, of Owensboro, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Hartford, Kentucky.
Ben was retired from Southwire, a member of Third Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, photography, and UK Basketball.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Griffin Boswell; wife, Joan Boswell; and grandson, Cooper Thomas Boswell.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Wendy) Boswell, Joseph (Amy) Boswell; his mother, Freda Boswell; his companion, Suzette Austin; his sister, Teresa (Jimmy) Handley; six grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Hayden, Ella, Zane, Norah; and three nephews, Jeremy, Jared, and Josh Handley.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
