FORSDVILLE, Ky. — Lula Pearl Beatty, 91, of Fordsville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, peacefully at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 14, 1927, to the late Charles and Francis Payne.
She was of the Catholic faith. Lula was a loving wife, mother and granny.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. “Runt” Beatty, in 1981; a son, John David Beatty, in 2014; four brothers, Robin, Boyd, Floyd and Earl Payne; and a sister, Grace Bannon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories three sons, Charles Ray (Darlene) Beatty, James Darrell Beatty, and Dennis William (Patti) Beatty; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, with burial in Roseville Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
