LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Roger Dale Taylor, 74, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018. He was born on July 18, 1944, to the late Sherman Carroll and Katie Belle Taylor.
Roger was a member of Sunset Masonic Lodge #915. He can be most remembered for his sweet personality and sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Leach.
He is survived by his daughter, Dana Bodenheimer (J.R.); former wife and friend, Barbara Turner Taylor; stepdaughter, Debbie Miller (Barry); brothers, Stephen and Sherman Lee Taylor; sister, Russie Davis; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40216. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday at Owen Funeral Home.
