CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Barbara Ann Tichenor, 75, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at her home. She was born in Rockport, Kentucky, March 31, 1943.
Barbara was retired from Ohio County School System where she worked as lunchroom manager at Centertown and Western schools. She was a member of Centertown United Methodist Church.
She loved her family and swinging on the porch with Wendell.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Tichenor, on Oct. 18, 2016.
Survivors include her son, Barry (Tammy) Tichenor; daughter, Tina (Luke) Maze; grandchildren, Tia Small, Ashley (Beau) Wright, Shania Maze(Matt), Scotty Tichenor, Tyler (Dallas) Tichenor, Seth (Camryn) Tichenor, and Brian Tichenor; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Haleigh, and Lainey Snyder, Peyton, Paisley, and Phoenix Wright, Ayla, and Zeke Maze, Mackenzie and Gunnar Hobbs; brother, Gene (Mary) Martin; sisters, Betty Huff and Jequita (Terry) Childers.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Mike Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Central Grove Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
