Antha Belle Ralph

HARTFORD, Ky. — Antha Belle Ralph, 90, of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Feb. 4, 1928, to the late James Randall Shown and Antha Belle (Park) Shown.

With the exception of three years in Indianapolis, Indiana, she resided most of her life in No Creek Community. She was an early member of the No Creek Methodist Church, but later became a member of the Hartford Christian Church.

She graduated from the Hartford High School in 1947.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton D. Ralph; three brothers, Cecil Thomas Shown, James Randall Shown Jr., and Kenneth Ford Shown; a sister, Emma Lowe Campbell; and a grandson, Daniel Curtis Bratcher.

She is survived by three sons, Dennis Dalton (Sue Ann) Ralph, of Hartford, John Edward (Nora) Ralph, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Wayne Lee (Mary) Ralph, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; a daughter, Antha Marie (James) Winston, of Scottsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Susan Faye Boger, of Bowling Green, James Douglas Winston, of Scottsville, Kentucky, Amanda Gail Taylor, of Tennessee, Amy Renee Osboe, of Bowling Green, Kelly Lynn Glaskox, of Beaver Dam, and Kristy Layne Westerfield, of Beaver Dam ; 11 great-grandchildren, Cody Taylor Winston, Brenton Augustus Ayres, Emilee Paige Coffman, Marissa Nicole Dunn, McKennah Nicole Dunn, Daniel Fisher Coffman, Noah Ethan Westerfield, Jonah Evan Westerfield, Levi John Glaskox, Caleb Dai Glaskox , and Abigail Lynn Glaskox; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Carson Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ralph will welcome family and friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
