
She attended Oak Ridge General Baptist Church, former teacher, respiratory therapist and was a member of The Peace Corps.
Other than her parents Ann is preceded in death by one son, Peter Samuel Guilaran; two brothers, J.C. and Huston Pharris; one sister, Edith Pharris; and two sisters-in-law, Neva Pharris and Bernice Pharris.
Ann Ruth Guilaran is survived by one daughter, Iris Johnson (Tim), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; two sons, Andrew Guilaran (Saroeub), of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Fonsie Guilaran (Lesley), of Jackson, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Ivy Johnson, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Katlyn Norton, of Bowling Green; five grandsons, T.J. Johnson, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Zakary Johnson, of Brentwood, Tennessee, Angel and Xiao Yu Guilaran, of Jackson, and Preston Norton, of Bowling Green; three brothers, Revil Pharris (Faye), of Morgantown, Kentucky, Connie Pharris (Jean) of Columbus, Ohio, Teddy Pharris (Janice), of Morgantown; two sisters, Nova Allean Embry (James), of Morgantown, and Lou Tella Logan (Harold), of Morgantown; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Pharris, of Morgantown, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Oak Ridge General Baptist Church Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Derek Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Chapel and Saturday from 11 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.
