HARTFORD, Ky. — Laura Mae Lucas, 41, of Hartford, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Murray, Kentucky, March 3, 1977, the daughter of the late James and Vera Shultz Jackson.

Laura was a CNA with Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was an avid horsewoman and Green Bay Packers fan. She loved her family, her career and nursing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Robinson, and sister, Jamie Jackson.

Laura is survived by four children, Kaitlin Phifer (Richard) and Addisyn Vincent, of Caneyville, Kentucky, Quentin Jett (Mandy), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and James Aaron Lucas (Cassie), of Hartford; two grandchildren, Ava Jane Lucas and Brantley Cole Burton; two brothers, Wayne Robinson and Marty Robinson (Stephanie), of Clarkson, Kentucky; and two sisters, Sue Carman (Mike), of Garfield, Kentucky, and Samantha Henderson (Mark), of Lewisport, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Horsley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday after 10:30 a.m.
