BEAVER DAM, Ky. — LuSandra Coots, 80, passed away at her home Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018. She was born in Kentucky to the late Fred Stenberg and Stella Boyd.
Lu was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, enjoyed her grandkids and UK basketball and football. She was preceded in death by her husband Lemmie D. Coots.
Survivors include her son, Mark (Robin) Coots; her daughter, Angela Coots (Charlie) Patton; grandchildren, Aaron (Elizabeth) Coots, Kortni (Jamey) Mattingly, Chad (Sarah) Coots, Stephen(Shelby) Patton, and Alex(Kristian) Patton; great-grandchildren, Dayne, Haley, Sawyer, Harley, Breylen, Kirk, and Lemmie; and two sisters, Mike (J.B.) Speed and Bridgett (Ricky) Filback.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at New Harmony Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
