BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Wanda L. “Poodle” Allen, 82, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at her home. She was born in the Arnold Community near Horse Branch, Kentucky, in Ohio County. She was born Sept. 27, 1936, daughter of the late
Chester and Flora Raymer Renfrow.
She was a member of the Leach Chapel General Baptist Church, was a wife, and mother.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Lantie E. Allen; and grandson, Tim House.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon A. House (Donald), Sarah A. Morgan (Rodney), Sherry A. Beck (Jim), and Shelly E. Allen (Tim); five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro Bobby Renfrow officiating. Burial will follow in Leach Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
