CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — Retha Peveler, 79, of Central City, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Peveler was born July 12, 1939, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and a member of Nelson Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Peveler; and daughter Tammy Sue Peveler.
She is survived by her sons, Troy (Connie) Peveler, of Central City, Timothy (Cathy) Peveler, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Terry (Michaelle) Peveler, of Central City, and Trent (Torie) Peveler, of Central City; grandchildren, William Oliver Peveler, Starla Renee Groves, Madelyn Peveler, Jeremiah Peveler, Jessica Horton, Terry Peveler Jr., and Courtney Peveler; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Gladys French, Juanita Allen, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Margaret Caplinger.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by Rev. Curtis McGehee. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
