BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Lincoln Joy Condit, 82, of Beaver Dam, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at Owensboro Heath Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1936, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late A.C. and Lily Mae Condit.
Lincoln was a retired factory supervisor and enjoyed gardening and watching sports. He also served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents Lincoln was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and one nephew.
Lincoln is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dora Joan Condit; one daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Leach; one son, Anthony (Brandi) Condit; three grandchildren, Eric (Shelby) Leach, Cameron Leach, and Ava Condit; two great-grandchildren, Everly and Gage Leach; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. John Cashion officiating. Burial will follow in Woodwards Valley Cemetery on Hwy 136 in Hartford. Friends may visit with Lincoln’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
