HARTFORD, Ky. — James Rodney Reynolds, 78, of Hartford, passed away on Sept. 7, 2018, at his home. He was born on May 20, 1940, to the late Lester and Mary Reynolds.

He was a boilermaker for 30 years and retired from Custom Fabrications.

Rodney enjoyed watching NASCAR, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Wanda Louise Reynolds; a brother, Larry Joe Reynolds; and a sister, Betty Givens.

He is survived by a son, James Rodney (Lisa) Reynolds Jr., of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; a daughter, Trina Reynolds (Bobby) Riggs, of Nebo, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Kansas (Josh) Corley, Keyona (Cody) Corley, Kara Reynolds McKinney, Brad (Nicole) Reynolds, Nick Burdin, Chad (Whitney) Reynolds, Melissa Riggs, and Dustin Riggs; 14 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Jake, Ethan, Emma, Nate, Ross and Alex Corley, Liddie and Aden Burdin, Henry and Charlie McKinney, Chloe and Nolan Reynolds, and Carsyn Snodgrass.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family of Mr. Reynolds will welcome family and friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
