HARTFORD, Ky. — Shawn Michael Walton, 19, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Hartford Dec. 15, 1998.
Shawn was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cromwell, Kentucky, enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball, and video games.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruford and Rosemary Phelps, Neil and Sharon Walton Kirby.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Mary Michelle Walton, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; sister, Sharon Walton, of Beaver Dam; father, Mike Walton (Selina), of Indiana; stepsister, Michaela McClean, of Morgantown, Kentucky; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, June 29 at 12 p.m. with Bro. Ricky Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Phelps Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
