SANDY HOOK, Ky. — Earl Eugene Elliott, 66, of Sandy Hook, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Elliott was born June 15, 1952 in Elliott County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clyde and Irene Jarrells Elliott.

Earl was of the Baptist Faith, he retired as the superintendent for the Addington Brothers in Owensboro, Kentucky. He enjoyed reading his Bible and listening to gospel music and loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Cassity, and one brother, Edward Elliott.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Sharon Elliott, of Sandy Hook; one son, Benjamin (Alana) Elliott, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; one daughter: Holly Elliott, of Michigan, Ohio; four brothers, Larry Elliott, Pearlman Elliott, Hershel Elliott, all of Sandy Hook, Ernie Elliott, of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Joleen Colby, of New Jersey, Letha Nell Ferguson, of Sandy Hook; three grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends that will sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Sunday, June 24, in the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home Chapel in Sandy Hook. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook.

At Earl’s request there will be a private visitation.
