HAWESVILLE, Ky. — Willia Jo Hoskins Payne, 88, of Hawesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Heartland Villa. She was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Clarence and Julia Irene Bruner Hoskins.
Willia was a member of Blackford Baptist Church and was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward “Ed” Payne; son, Roger Payne; granddaughter, Dana Michelle Gray; siblings, Glenn V. House, Margaret Faye Raley, Dora Gertrude Dickens, and Henry Hoskins.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Irene Cash, of Nashville, Tennessee, Joyce F. Marcrum, of Hawesville, and Roxie Lynn Beals, of Hawesville; a son, Eddie Dale Payne, of Hawesville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, June 22, at 1 p.m. at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville with burial following in Pellville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
