OWENSBORO, Ky. — Bonita Walker Boling, 87, of Owensboro, died on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Gary, Indiana, March 2, 1931, to the late Ralph and Nellie Evans Walker.

Bonita retired from G.E. and M.P.D. after 40+ years and attended Hall Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Red” Boling on June 23, 2011.

She leaves behind two daughters, Rhonda (J Hardie) Johnston and Raina (Dale) Means, both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Dane (Allie) Johnston, Adam (Emmy) Johnston and Natalie Johnston; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Maggie (JP) Rusher, of Owensboro; and her beloved puppy, Squeaks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, in the Chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. until  7 p.m on Monday at the funeral home and after 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
