LEITCHFIELD, Ky. (6/7/18) — A Grayson County man wanted on charges of assault, wanton endangerment, unlawful imprisonment and criminal mischief has been located and arrested.

Joshua Stone was arrested without incident by a Grayson County deputy near Leitchfield after receiving a tip on his whereabouts. Stone was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Stone’s charges stem from an incident where he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and dragged her behind his truck leaving her with severe injuries.


HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on the look out for a wanted man from Caneyville.

According to Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating Joshua J. Stone, 33, from Caneyville. Stone is wanted for first degree assault, first degree wanton endangerment, first degree unlawful imprisonment and first degree criminal mischief. This investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely.

Stone is described as a white male, 5’5” weighing around 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Stone should be considered dangerous.
