BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Robert Everett “Bobby” Martin, 66, of Beaver Dam, went to his heavenly home on Friday, May 11, 2018. He was born July 14, 1951, in Dalton, Kentucky, to the late Everett Edwin Martin and Ruth Bone Martin.
He retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Aside from his parents Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife, Debbie Martin, and a sister, Edwina Byford.
Survivors include two brothers, Michael H. Lewis and Jamey H. Lewis; stepmother, Lana Martin; nephew, Wesley Cartwright; brother-in-law, Lee Byford; two sisters-in-law, Danetta (Jay) Mahaffey and DeAnn Cummings; his devoted church family, and many friends.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 8086 Cedar Grove Road, Olaton, Kentucky 42361, with Rev. Larry Embry officiating. The church will open at 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service for friends to share memories of Bobby.
