OWENSBORO, Ky. — Georgia A. Wells, 91, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, the 15th of May, 2018, at her home in Owensboro.
Born in 1926 in Ohio County, Kentucky, she loved her family and was a wonderful seamstress and baker. She was always the one that could light up a room with her fun attitude.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wells.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Wells (Kim); her daughter, Sharon Butler (David); a sister, Thilthia “Sissy” Embry; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, Kentucky, with burial in Cates Cemetery in Whitesville, Kentucky. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
