HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Quinton Lee “Poss” Nabours, 91, of Horse Branch, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford, Kentucky. He was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Olaton, Kentucky, to the late Willie Lee and Finis Elizabeth Young Nabours.
Quinton retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department where he worked as a machine operator.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dewy Nabours.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary E. Nabours, of Horse Branch; three children, Patty Lou (Mike) Stewart, Linda S. Nabours, and Willie Lee Nabours (Stacy Rojewski), all of Horse Branch; one brother, Raleigh Nabours, of Olaton; two sisters, Lou Barnard, of Hartford, and Belinda Filback, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and one granddaughter, Nicole Rojewski.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mr. Nabours’ family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
