BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Nellie V. Taylor, 89, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky. She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Horse Branch, Kentucky, to the late Andrew and Florence K. Brooks Murphy.
Nellie was a member of the Hartford Church of God and was a homemaker.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joy C. Taylor; two sons, Eddie Taylor and William Taylor; one daughter, Birdia Allen; and one daughter-in-law, Alice Frances Taylor.
Survivors include her son, Jay V. Taylor, of Marion, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four nieces, and two nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Buddy Swift officiating. Burial will follow in Cane Run Cemetery near Horse Branch. Friends may visit with Mrs. Taylor’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
