BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Mary Lucille Chancellor Moore, 90, Beaver Dam, went home to be with the Lord at 4:29 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Owensboro hospital. She was born Nov. 26, 1927, in McHenry, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Albert and Clair Pillow Chancellor, and stepmother, Jesse Chancellor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James E. Moore; daughter, Joan Maraman, of Henderson, Kentucky; her brothers, Fredrick Chancellor, Jesse Wintford
Chancellor, and James William (Bill) Chancellor; a sister, Rosa May Chancellor Duncan; and her grandson, Kevin James Coomes, of Henderson, Kentucky.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Danny Chancellor; three daughters, Theresa Wilson and her husband, Tommy, Sue Baize and her husband, Garnett, both of Beaver Dam, and Debbie Walters and her husband, Dutch, of Corydon, Kentucky; three sons, Jimmy Moore and his wife, Linda, of Newburgh, Indiana, Darrell and Jeannette Moore, of Beaver Dam, and Monty Moore, of Hartford, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her homegoing celebration will be at 2 p.m Friday at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. The Rev. Mayor Van Bussom will officiate. Burial will be in Lonestar Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
