HARTFORD, Ky. — Ira Felty, 54 of Hartford, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Ohio County Hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1963, in Morgantown, Kentucky, to the late Byron and Edna Howard Felty.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Hartford and worked as a brick mason.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Felty and Mike Felty, and one sister, Diane Jones.
Survivors include his children, Rebekah Clark, of Hartford, Robert (Melisa) Willoughby, of Ridgeway, Illinois, and Andy (Ashleigh) Crowe, of Terre Haute, Indiana; his siblings, Gary Felty, Gilbert Felty, Margaret Felty, Pamella Felty, Paulla Felty, Cathy (Elbert) Mullins, Elaine Felty, and Janice Hutchison, all of Hartford; and 10 grandchildren, Alissia Filback, Jace “Little Ira” Clark, Turner Crowe, Megan Willoughby, Jaelyn Duvall, Noah Willoughby, Jase Duvall, Cash Willoughby, Cale Willoughby and Chase Willoughby.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Pete Leach officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may visit with Mr. Felty’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
