OWENSBORO, Ky. — Peggy Joan Midkiff, 78, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018. She was born April 14, 1939, in McHenry, Kentucky, to the late V.T. Lacefield and Iva Embry Lacefield.
Mrs. Midkiff was a homemaker and a member of Hartford Church of Christ.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lod Midkiff, and siblings, Chelcie Lacefiled, Olous Lacefield, Onell Lacefield, Kathleen Southerlin, and Geraldene Render.
Survivors include one brother, Udell Lacefield, of Pekin, Illinois; four sisters, Fostine Duncan, of Hartford, Kentucky, Maxine Duncan, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Dorene Austin, of Westfield, Indiana, and Joyce (Jewel) White, of McMinnville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Midkiff’s family from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
