DUNDEE, Ky. — Mildred Victoria Mattingly, 101, of Dundee, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Owensboro Center. She was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Beda, Kentucky, to the late Era C. and Clarence Captain Lyles Shown.
Mildred was a homemaker and a faithful member of Dundee Methodist Church.
Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, James Edward Graham, March 14, 1978, and Paul Edward Mattingly, Feb. 22, 2000; two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include nieces, Sue Jurck and Patsy Baxley, and nephews, Larry Hedgepeth and Charles Mattingly.
The family would like to thank Owensboro Center, Jeffrey Baxley and his staff for the special care they gave to Mildred during her stay.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Chapel of Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home.
