HENDERSON, Ky. — Willie Earl Kaysinger, 87, of Henderson, died on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Jesse and Essie Nave Caysinger.

He was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Willie was proudly retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 633 after over 55 years of service.

He was a member of the Emmaus Community and firm follower and believer in Jesus Christ, enjoyed hunting, UK Basketball and family events. Willie was a family man and was a generous and caring person.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jean Ellen Meller Kaysinger, in 2010, three brothers, one sister, and a granddaughter, Tasha.

Survivors include three sons, Garry Kaysinger (Laura), Todd Kaysinger (Anita), and David Kaysinger; one daughter, Pam Dailey (John); 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Spurrier (Carl); a sister-in-law, Ann Meersman (Mike); and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville, Kentucky. Burial with military honors will be in Cates Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
