OWENSBORO, Ky. — James E. “Jimbo” McKeown, 57, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 10, 1960, in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James Charles “J.C.” McKeown and Ora Mae Combs McKeown.
Mr. McKeown was a carpenter and loved his beloved duck, Daisey.
Survivors include his fiancée, Regina Fralin Stanley, of Rocky Mount, Virginia; three sisters, Sharon (Roy) Dixon, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Peggy McKeown, of Owensboro, and Nancy Joseph, of Beaver Dam; and one brother, Ronnie McKeown, of Beaver Dam.
Cremation was chosen per Jimbo’s wishes. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
