WESTVIEW, Ky. — Donny Peek, 60, of Westview, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, on Nov. 15, 1957, the son of the late J. B. and Delma Rose Peek.
Donny was a 38 year employee of LG & E, a member of NRA and he enjoyed riding fourwheelers, watching westerns and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Peek, and sister, Joetta Smith.
Donny is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gwen Peek, of Westview; son, Nick Peek (Ashley), of McDaniels, Kentucky; two daughters, Christy Bloomfield (Dustin), of Flaherty, Kentucky, and Tiffany Peek, of Westview; six grandchildren, Makayla and Emma Bloomfield, Lindsey Pile, Analeigh, Norah and Ellie Mae Peek; three brothers, Bill Peek (Sue), of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bobby Peek, of Fordsville, Kentucky, Roy Peek (Kathy), of London, Kentucky; two sisters, Darlene Pile, of Hudson, Kentucky, Carol Vanover, of Corbin, Kentucky; stepmother, Dolly Peek, of Tennessee; three half-brothers, Charles Peek (Penny), Harold Peek, and Wayne Peek (Diane), of Tennessee; two half-sisters, Kathy Langford (David) and Irene Flowers, of Tennessee; one brother-in-law, and four sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday after 8 a.m.
