ROCHESTER, Ky. — Jean Riley Chancellor, 95, of Rochester, formerly of Rockport, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at Signature Healthcare of Hartford, Kentucky. She was born Aug. 5, 1922, to the late Thomas Edward Riley and Martha Jane Cundiff Riley.
Mrs. Chancellor retired from Ohio County Hospital where she was a nurse and was a member of Monticello Baptist Church in Provo, Kentucky.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Chancellor.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Don) Sullivan, of Rochester, and two grandchildren, Amy (Brock) Lambert and Andy Sullivan.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Randy Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, Kentucky. Friends may visit Mrs. Chancellor’s family Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
