HARTFORD, Ky. — William Byron “Bubby” Smith, 66, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017. He was born in Owensboro on Sept. 1, 1951.
Bubby was a GIS Specialist with GRADD for 29 years, worked for Ohio County Fiscal Court for two years and installed carpet for 20 years. He was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Edward Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Anita Smith; two sons, Jason (Michelle) Smith and Jarrod (Hillary) Smith; sisters, Brenda Ritchie and Lana Bailey; mother, Zelma Smith; six grandchildren, Danyon Calloway, Shelby Smith, Chion Smith, Tye Smith, Jodeah Smith, and Elijah Smith.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. James Wedding officiating. Burial will
follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday.
