BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Doris Phelps Pharris, 71, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1946, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Estil Phelps and Gracie Marie Swift Phelps.
Doris was employed many years by Cowden’s.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilford Parris, and one brother, James Lewis Phelps.
Survivors include one son, Timmy Pharris, of Louisville; two daughters, Percillia “Denise” Berkley (Billy Watson), and Patricia (Kevin) Sandefur; four grandchildren, Jimmy Sandefur, Jason (Misty) Sandefur, Joshua (Michelle) Berkley, and Autumn Tichenor; one brother, Gene Phelps, of Hartford, Kentucky; and one sister, Darlene Phelps.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Doris’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
