HARTFORD, Ky. — William Daniel Campbell, 64 of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1953, in Hartford to the late Robert F. and Virginia Isabell Hobdy Campbell.
He had 15 years of service aviation electrician in the United States Navy. Dan loved taking care of his fish pond and his second love was taking care of his pets.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Ford Campbell, Raymond Douglas Campbell, David Edwin Campbell, and Robert Dale Campbell.
Survivors include two sons, Josh (Adrienne) Campbell, of Auburn, Georgia, and Ryan (Nina) Campbell of Palm Coast, Florida; daughter, Sarah (Jason) Price, of Winter Garden, Florida; two brothers, Kevin (Janet) Campbell, of Hartford, and Mike (Susie) Campbell, of Rockport, Kentucky; three sisters, Donna (Coy) Barnett, of Utica, Kentucky, Dorothy Campbell and Robin Warren, of Hartford. Dan was blessed with three grandchildren, Skyla Price, Ellie Price, and Foster Campbell.
Cremation was chosen by the family and performed by the staff of Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford.
A Celebration of Life Service for William Daniel Campbell will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Rev. Alton “Doc” Crowe Officiating.
