Beaver Dam man charged with DUI, drug trafficking

FORDSVILLE, Ky. — A Beaver Dam, Kentucky, man is in jail facing a DUI and drug trafficking charges.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 16, Saturday night, the KSP made a traffic stop in Fordsville. Upon contact with the driver, the KSP identified him as Justin D. Whalin, 26, of Beaver Dam.

Through investigation, Troopers discovered Whalin to be in possession of, and trafficking in, methamphetamine and marijuana. Whalin was arrested and charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and other related charges.

Whalin was transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.
