HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Sherri Doolin, 57, of Horse Branch, departed this life on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky. She was born July 5, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to John Richard Geary and Betty G. Hayse Geary.
Sherri worked as an A3 at DSSA.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Richard Geary.
Survivors include her children, Leslie (Joshua) Mesick, of Central City, Kentucky, and Dalton Doolin (Olivia Helm), of Horse Branch; her mother, Betty Geary, of Horse Branch; seven grandchildren, Ethan, Conor, Dylan, Shane, Jacob, Jacob and Nayely; two brothers, Gerald (Kay) Geary, of Horse Branch, and Larry (Kim) Geary, of Island, Kentucky; two sisters, Judy (John) Hayse, of Horse Branch, and Brenda Payton, of Horse Branch; her furry companion, Bones; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends that will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Sherri’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Sherri’s family from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
