***UPDATE*** BELTON, Ky. (11/5/17 – 6:45 p.m.) — The Kentucky State Police reported Rickie Jones was found and now incarcerated.

A tip let KSP Detectives to Riverside Rd. in Rumsey, Kentucky. Jones was found inside a camping trailer on private property. Upon contact with Jones, he voluntarily exited the camper and was detained without incident.

Rickie Jones was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention center on the charge of Murder.


***UPDATE*** BELTON, Ky. (11/4/17- 5 p.m.) — The Kentucky State Police is reporting Rickie Jones, a suspect in a Muhlenberg County homicide, was caught on camera purchasing items from the Even Steven Convenience store in Daviess County, Kentucky. Jones is possibly traveling in a tan or gold Toyota Camry.

Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.

BELTON, Ky. — Kentucky State Police Post 2 is on scene of a homicide, occurring in Muhlenberg County some time between 9 p.m. last night and 7 a.m. this morning.

According to KSP Post 2, the agency was notified at 7:25 a.m. by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office, of a man found dead in the front yard of his residence at 556 KY 2270 E.

Preliminary investigation shows Tony Faith, 37, was in an argument last night with his neighbor, Rickie Jones, 59. At some point after the altercation, Faith’s wife went to bed and last saw her husband walking back outside to re-confront Jones. She found her husband this morning, dead in their front yard.

Jones is now on the run. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts are encouraged to call Kentucky State Police at 270-676-3313.

Jones is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Jones description is as follows:

• White male
• 6’ 6”
• 300 lbs
• Gray hair
• Blue eyes
• Jones has a history of mental illness
