BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ethel Mae Decker, 69, of Beaver Dam died Monday Oct. 2, 2017 at UofL Hospital in Louisville. Ethel was born in McHenry, Kentucky, to the late Alfonzie and Eva Maddox Payton.

She was a member of East Hartford Baptist Church, was a homemaker and worked in food service and as a bus monitor for Ohio County Board of Education.

Survivors include her husband, James Wilkie Decker; three sons, Jeff (Lisa) Decker, of Owensboro, Kentucky, Ken (Jessica) Decker, of Beaver Dam, and Paul (Misty) Decker, of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Kian, Dashia, Kendra, Nate, Kenlee, Elijah, and Ella; eight great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kayha, Brian, Addy, Gabriella, Daylan, Nellie and Armour; and a sister, Louise (Bill) Stevens, of Rockport, Kentucky.

Services are 12 noon Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro Jeremy Robinson and Dr. Andy Gowins officiating. Burial will be in
Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Friday at the funeral home.
