CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — Stella Mae Drenon, 86, of Central City, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Diversicare of Greenville, Kentucky. Ms. Drenon was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, on Jan. 19, 1931.
She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Drenon; brothers, Mitchell and Spencer Minton; sisters, Anita Novak and Joyce Popka.
Survivors include her son, Keith Drenon, of Central City; daughters, Sandra Tyson, of Central City, Vicki Frye, of Hanson, Kentucky; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Mayfield, Virginia Latham; and brother, Sam Shaver.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Charles Gresham officiating and Bro. Adam Brown assisting. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
