NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Marty Wright, 51, of New Albany, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at his sister’s residence in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was born Feb. 20, 1966, to the late Paul Wright Sr. and Martha Wright.
He was a very active AA sponsor. Marty enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his dog “Pepper.” He was an avid wrestling and UK basketball fan.
Marty was employed at Hertz as an auto detailer.
Survivors include his four sisters, Paula Stinnett, of Owensboro, Anna Alexander, of Alabama, Karen Wright, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Sharon Wright, of Philpot, Kentucky; two brothers, Paul Wright Jr., and John Wright, of Louisville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews
A private service will be held at a later date.
