LEXINGTON, Ky. — Claire Elizabeth Embry, infant daughter of Brandon and Jillian Embry, was born at 9:03 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Claire weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 inches long. She blessed us with her life until 6:02 p.m. Sept. 7, 2017, when she became an angel and went to meet Jesus.
Along with her parents, Claire is survived by her big brother, Silas Embry; her grandparents, James and Susan Fulkerson and Eddie and Janice Embry; great-grandparents, the Rev. Charles and Doris Bennett, Lorene Fulkerson and the late Thomas Fulkerson, Odrey and Cova Embry, and Eloise Stenberg; uncles and aunts, the Rev. Joshua and Haley Fulkerson, Dr. Zachary and Laura Fulkerson, and Dr. Eddie and Amy Embry; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. (EDT) Saturday at Southland Christian Church, Nicholasville Road, Lexington, in the Chapel, Building A. Visitation will begin after 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
