REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. — Kenneth “Kenny” Gerard Higdon, 51, of Reynolds Station, died on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on Sept. 8, 1965, to Henry C. Higdon and the late Mary Joe Melton Higdon.
He was employed at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Kenny loved his pets, UK basketball, doing side jobs with Rodney Gray and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Stephanie Higdon; a daughter, Alissa Higdon; his father, Henry Higdon; his brothers; Larry Higdon (Evonne), Ronnie Higdon (Patty) and Glenn Higdon (Lou); his sisters, Donna Beatty (Bill Westerfield) and Mary Roby (Joey); three sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville, Kentucky. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday with prayers at 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
