BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Terry Ray Mattingly, 38, of Beaver Dam, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital due to complications of pneumonia. He was born July 21, 1979, in Daviess County.
Terry attended WORD Missionary Baptist Church and was employed by Perdue Farms. Terry enjoyed riding four-wheelers, watching wrestling and playing Bunco. He had the biggest heart and would do anything he could for anyone and was loved by many.
Survivors include his mother, Joan Basham; father, Ralph Mattingly Sr. (Martha Hayse); two sisters, Sabrina Mattingly and Ellen Mattingly; one brother, Ralph Mattingly Jr.; best friends, “Dolly” Elizabeth Seaton and King Larry Basham; 11 nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Darrell Moran officiating. Burial will follow in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Terry’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
