William ‘Tony’ Duncan

CANEYVILLE, Ky. — William “Tony” Duncan, 49, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1967, in Ohio County, Kentucky, the son of Hubert and Lorena (Hayes) Duncan.

Tony was a roofer and a farmer. He also enjoyed working on lawn mowers and weedeaters, riding motorcycles and his horse, Blue.

Other than his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Keith Daniel Duncan.

Tony is survived by his wife of 28 years, Elva (Worth) Duncan, of Caneyville; their daughter, Leslie Worth, of Clarkson, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Delanna Hope Duford and Lydia Willow Clark, both of Clarkson; his mother, Lorena Jones, of Spring Lick, Kentucky; two brothers, Derwin Duncan and Kevin Jones, both of Ohio County; three sisters, Sheila James, of Illinois, Charlotte Snodgrass, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Katie McHenry, of Millwood, Kentucky, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family has chosen cremation with a private memorial service at a later date.

Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville are in charge of arrangements.
